Semi-automatic mattress tape-edge sewing workstation designed for attaching binding tape around mattress borders and producing clean, durable finished edges.

The LC-3 (WB-3) is a specialized mattress tape-edge machine used for sewing the top and bottom panels of a mattress to the side border while simultaneously attaching edge tape. The machine is widely used in mattress manufacturing for foam, spring, pillow-top and upholstered mattresses.

The workstation features a movable sewing head carriage that travels around the mattress perimeter. Variable-speed control allows the operator to adjust both sewing and carriage movement, while the automatic corner slowdown function improves stitching accuracy when sewing around mattress corners.

Depending on the configuration, the machine can be equipped with either a lockstitch or chainstitch sewing head. The adjustable sewing-head angle and lifting worktable allow the machine to accommodate mattresses of different thicknesses. WB-3-type machines commonly offer mattress capacities ranging approximately from 30mm to 450mm, depending on the configuration.
