CTEC CT300UB5 Mattress Tape Edge Sewing Head

Heavy-duty single-needle, two-thread chainstitch sewing head specially designed for mattress tape-edge sewing and mattress border finishing applications.

The CTEC CT300UB5 is a specialized industrial sewing head designed specifically for attaching tape around the edges of mattresses. It produces a strong and flexible chainstitch seam while allowing smooth operation around mattress corners and thick upholstered edges.

Based on the Singer 300UX5 tape-edge machine platform, the CT300UB5 is designed as a compatible replacement sewing head for many existing mattress tape-edge machine tables and stands. The machine features robust heavy-duty construction and is manufactured in Taiwan by Chung Tien Enterprise Co., Ltd.

The improved presser-foot lifting system provides approximately 15–16mm clearance, allowing the machine to handle thicker mattress materials and upholstered edges effectively. The CT300UB5 is supplied as a sewing head and can be installed on compatible tape-edge machine stands.
